In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category in Portugal saw varied performance across the top applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, with a peak at approximately 29.2K in late October. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users ranging from around 1.2M to 1.4M throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady pattern in downloads, ranging from about 10.4K to 16.1K weekly. Active user numbers fluctuated, starting at approximately 987.8K and declining to about 679.6K by the end of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed consistent download numbers, peaking at around 14.6K in the last week of December. Weekly active users varied, starting at 880.2K and dropping to approximately 676.9K by the quarter's end.

Moovit: Your Transit Tracker had a stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 6.4K to 9.3K weekly. Revenue peaked at about $1.9K at the start of the quarter but saw a gradual decline. Active users fluctuated significantly, from 346.5K down to 221.5K.

Lastly, Comboios de Portugal saw a steady increase in downloads, reaching 7K in late December. Active users started at 159.3K and decreased to 129K by the end of the quarter.
